Round Acrylic Spas Might be Just what you Need!

When you are looking for comfort and relaxation, round acrylic spas can be the perfect addition to your household. Most will feature water or air jets that provide a massage for all your muscles that can work wonders. They are typically made from a single piece of plastic and can be installed either inside or outside of the home. If you are tired of the traditional Western style of bathtub and would like to try out something new and exotic in your home, then an acrylic spa will be the perfect choice for you.

While this style was practically nonexistent in the West in past decades, round acrylic spas have really taken off and there are many different shapes and styles to choose from. A few of the more well known models include walk-in styles that are excellent for the disabled and elderly. They feature doors on the side that make entering and exiting easy and risk free. There is also the traditional Japanese style of bathtub, also known as the Ofuro which was made with long soaks in mind. When you would like an exotic design that really sets your bathroom apart from the others this is the perfect choice.

Round acrylic spas in the United States are often mistakenly referred to as Whirlpool or Jacuzzi, but both are simply the brand names of a certain type of hot tub. They feature multiple water or air jets that direct the water forcefully to different areas of the body. It is now common for these jets to move around in several different directions as well which provides a soothing massage for your muscles. These luxurious tubs may also come equipped with lighting, stereo systems, and even flat screen television sets with built in DVD players. Best of all, as they become more common the price continues to drop as well.

One of the key features of round acrylic spas that sets them apart from other more traditional tubs is the fact that they are nice and deep. Also, they very rarely feature built in showers which has become the norm in Western bathtubs because they are designed primarily for taking nice long soaks. Depending on the model you choose, they may be large enough to be installed outside of your home such as on your deck, or small enough to fit into the tiniest of bathrooms.

When you are looking for a way to relax all your muscles, and not just your lower body, there is no substitute for a nice long soak in an acrylic spa. Some models, such as the Japanese Ofuro tub are so deep that you can actually soak your entire body up to their neck. Others may be wide enough that you can join for spouse for a relaxing soak together.
